Furniture assembly, built square and anchored

Beds, dressers, desks, bookcases, tables, and office chairs. Furniture that shows up in boxes gets built, set where you want it, and the tall pieces anchored to the wall. A texted photo is all we need to send you a free price.

We build the furniture that shows up in boxes

Send us what you ordered and we put it together. A bed frame, a dresser, a desk, a bookcase: whatever arrived in cartons with a bag of hardware and a booklet of drawings gets built and set where you want it.

Every piece comes out of the carton and gets checked before it goes together. Doors and drawers get lined up so they close even, tall pieces get anchored to the wall, and the cartons go out to your bins.

The step the instructions bury

A tall dresser or a bookcase can come forward when a loaded drawer is pulled out or a kid climbs it. The fix is an anchor: a bracket and a screw into the framing behind the drywall, so the piece stays put. It is the last page of the booklet and the step most often skipped. On anything tall enough to need one, we put it in.

From cartons on the floor to furniture in place

The same run of work covers one nightstand or a whole bedroom set.

Step 1

Open the cartons, count the hardware

The floor gets covered and the panels come out and get laid in order. We count the hardware against the booklet first, so a short bag turns up now, not halfway through.

Step 2

Build it in order, bring it up square

Panels go together the way the drawings run, and the cam locks and screws get brought up snug rather than stripped. The frame gets checked square before the back panel goes on, because that is what holds it there.

Step 3

Set it in place, level it, anchor it

The piece goes where you want it and the feet get adjusted until it sits level on the floor. Doors and drawer fronts get lined up, and anything tall goes onto a wall anchor.

Cartons broken down before we leave

Every build gets priced on what is in the box

A nightstand and a wall of shelving are not the same work, so there is no flat rate per piece. Send a photo and we send back one number for everything, free.

The five things that move the price

  • 1How many pieces are waiting to be built
  • 2The size of each one, since a wall unit is not a nightstand
  • 3Anchoring to the wall on the tall pieces
  • 4Where it goes, because stairs and tight rooms slow a build
  • 5Cartons broken down and carried out to your bins
Straight talk

Sometimes the carton is the problem

Furniture travels a long way and it does not always arrive whole. A side panel comes out cracked at the corner, or the hardware bag is two cam bolts short. We open everything and tell you what is in there before the build starts. Then you decide: carry on with what arrived, or wait on the replacement part.

Quote the furniture with everything else

If the boxes are not the only thing waiting, send it all at once and it comes back as one number.

How do you price furniture assembly?

Furniture assembly is priced by the job, not by the hour, so one number covers the whole build. The price follows how many pieces are waiting, how big they are, and whether they need anchoring to the wall. Send a photo of the boxes and we send the exact price back free, before you book.

Can you anchor a dresser or a bookcase to the wall?

Yes. A tall piece gets a bracket and a screw into the framing behind the drywall so it cannot tip forward. That is part of the build, not a separate charge.

Do you build desks and office furniture?

Yes. Desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, and shelving units are all normal work. Tell us how many pieces are waiting and which room they belong in, and the whole lot comes back on one price.

Can you put together several pieces at once?

Yes. Send a photo of every box and we quote them together as one job. If there is other work waiting around the house, put that in the same message and it goes on the same price.

Do I need tools or space ready before you come?

You do not need tools, we bring ours. It helps if the boxes are near the room they belong in and there is floor space to lay the parts out. If they are still in the garage, say so and we plan for the carry.

Which cities do you cover for furniture assembly?

Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Winchester, and French Valley. There is no travel charge inside the service area.
