We fix dripping faucets and swap out sinks

A drip gets louder once the house goes quiet, and a handle that takes two hands to turn is not going to loosen on its own. We fix the faucet you have or set in the one you bought, and when the sink itself is past cleaning up we swap that too.

The run of work is the same either way. Water off at the valves under the sink, the old fixture out, the new one set and hooked back up, a fresh line of caulk around the rim. Then the water goes on and we watch underneath.

Fix it or replace it

A dripping faucet is almost always one worn part inside the handle, and that part is cheap next to a whole new fixture. Older faucets are where it turns: the part gets hard to find, or it costs close to a new one. We say which way we would go, and you see that price before you book.

The job runs water off to water back on

The same three steps cover a bathroom handle and a kitchen sink coming out.

Step 1

Water off, and we measure what goes back

The valves under the sink get closed and tested before a tool comes out. If a sink is being replaced, we measure the cutout and cabinet so the new one drops in clean.

Step 2

Old fixture out, new one set in place

The old faucet or sink comes off, the counter gets cleaned up underneath, and the new one goes in square on fresh supply lines.

Step 3

A fresh caulk line, then the water goes back on

A clean bead of caulk goes around the rim so water stays off the counter. Then the valves open and we run it hot and cold, watching the joints underneath.

What moves a faucet or sink quote

A worn part in a bathroom handle and a kitchen sink coming out are not the same job, so there is no flat rate. Text photos and one number comes back, free.

The five things that move the price

  • 1A part or a replacement, and which we would put your money on
  • 2The fixture itself, whether you have it or we pick it up
  • 3Kitchen or bathroom, since a kitchen sink is heavier to work
  • 4The shutoffs under the sink, and whether they still close
  • 5How many fixtures, in one room or through the house
Straight talk

The shutoffs are the part nobody thinks about

Those two small valves under your sink hold the water back while we work, and in an older house they can seize from sitting untouched for years. We turn them first, before a single nut gets loosened. If one will not close we stop and tell you what we found and what it takes to put right.

My faucet drips. Do you fix it or replace it?

Both are on the table. A drip is usually one worn part inside the handle, and that part is cheap. On an older fixture it can cost close to a whole new faucet, and replacing is then the better buy. We say which before you book.

Do I buy the new faucet or do you?

Whichever you prefer. Plenty of homeowners pick the one they want and have it waiting on the counter. If you would rather not shop, tell us the style and finish you are after and we pick one up. The quote says which it is.

Can you swap out a kitchen or bathroom sink?

Yes, kitchen and bathroom both. The old one comes out, we check the new one against the cutout in your counter, it gets set and hooked back up, and the rim gets a fresh line of caulk. Send a photo and we will say what will fit.

How much does faucet and sink work cost?

It is priced by the job, not by the hour, so one number covers the whole thing. The price follows whether the faucet takes a part or a replacement, kitchen or bath, and how many fixtures. Text photos and the exact price comes back free.

Can the faucet go on the same quote as my other jobs?

Yes. Send the whole list with photos, every item gets priced, and it comes back as one number you see before you book. A bathroom faucet, a patch in the hallway wall, and a ceiling fan all land on one quote.

Which cities do you cover for faucet and sink work?

Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Winchester, and French Valley. There is no travel charge inside the service area.
