Ceiling fan installation · Temecula Valley

We do ceiling fan installation, old fan down, new fan up

A fan that wobbles, clicks, or barely moves the air has run its course. We hang a new one on a mount built to carry it and take the old fan away if you want it gone. Send us a photo and the quote will not cost you a thing.

We replace worn out fans and install new ones

Where a fan already hangs, the old one comes down and a new one goes up in its place. Where only a light hangs, we check what it hangs from first, because a fan puts far more weight and motion on a ceiling than a light ever does.

You pick the fan: the size, the finish, the pull chains or the remote. Our part is getting it up level and quiet, with every speed run before we leave. Bedrooms and living rooms go the same way, and so does the room that never cools off in August.

Why a new fan is the answer

An old fan that wobbles is done

A ceiling fan has one moving assembly and it wears from the day it goes up. Once the wobble or the click starts, snugging the screws and clipping on balance weights buys a few weeks. What lasts is a new fan on a mount made for one.

The same run of work covers a worn out fan and a ceiling where a light hangs.

Step 1

Cover the room, take down what is up there

Power to the room goes off, a drop cloth goes down, and whatever sits under the spot gets moved clear. Then the old one comes down.

Step 2

Check the mount, build the new fan

We make sure the bracket up there is rated to carry a fan, and set a proper one if not. The new fan comes out of the box and goes together on the floor.

The mount gets checked first

Step 3

Hang it, set the blades even, run every speed

The fan goes up tight against the mount, the blades get set even, and we run every speed and the light before we pack up.

What we look at when we price a fan

A swap in a bedroom and a first fan over a two story entry are not the same job, so there is no flat rate. Text a photo and we send back one number, free.

The five things that move the price

  • 1How many fans you want up, and which rooms
  • 2A straight swap, or a first fan where a light hangs
  • 3How high the ceiling is, and whether it slopes
  • 4The fan itself: yours already, or we pick one up
  • 5The old fan, staying with you or leaving with us
Straight talk

You pick the fan, we make sure it goes up right

Choose whatever suits the room and we will put it up, as long as the spot can hold it safely. Now and then the answer is no, or not until a proper mount goes in, and you hear that from us before anything comes down.

The fan does not have to be the only job on the quote

If the fan is not the only thing waiting, name the rest when you text. It all gets priced together, one number.

My ceiling fan wobbles, can you fix it?

The answer to a wobbling fan is a new fan. A wobble usually means the part it turns on is worn, and tightening it back up buys a few weeks at best. We take the old fan down and hang a new one on a mount built to carry it.

Can you put a fan where a light is now?

Yes, in most rooms. The first thing we check is what the light hangs from, because a box that holds a light is not always built to carry a fan turning overhead. If the spot needs a proper fan mount, you hear that with the price.

Do I buy the fan, or do you?

You can go either route. Most people pick the fan themselves, since the size and the finish belong to the room, and we put up what you bought. If you would rather we pick one up, say so when you text and it goes on the quote.

How much does ceiling fan installation cost?

Ceiling fan installation is priced by the job, not by the hour, so one number covers the whole thing. What moves it is how many fans, how high the ceiling sits, and whether one already hangs there. Text a photo and we send the exact price back free, before you book.

Can you do several rooms at once?

Yes. Send a photo of each room and we price the whole set as one job with a single number on it. If other work is waiting around the house, put that in the same text and it lands on the same quote.

Which cities do you cover for ceiling fan installation?

Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Winchester, and French Valley. The price reads the same in all seven, because we add no travel charge anywhere inside the service area. Send your city along with the photos and we quote it from there.
